The halau was established in 1999 formerly known as Hula Halau Malie Me Ke Aloha.

Since then the halau has grown in so many ways. We started out with only female dancers 5 years old to teen and only performing with CDs. Today we have a wide age range of dancers from two years old to dancing
grandmothers. Aside from that we have added male dancers and live drummers.

The Halau has been featured at NBC11 Living Well Expo, Raging Waters,  Bay Area Vista, and NBC11 Wine Country. The halau has continued serving the bay area and specifically the ever green area of san jose with  performances for schools,  private parties, corporate events, and communities.

All this growth could not have been at all possible with out the LORD's guidence and the help of the halau dancers and their families, and the supporting community. I feel so blessed to have
such a supportive group of dancers and families to make this halau what is it today. Our accomplishments could not have possible without the great love for of our Lord, eachother and our love to  share Polynesian culture and of course LOKAHI (unity).
